Banner Stands

Banner Stands come in various sizes, configurations and quality. Midland Display specializes in portable banner stands and quick screens and sell primarily those banner banner stands that our experience and testing over time have shown to be the most durable representing the best value available. Most banner stands of the portable nature are designed to be set up in seconds, pack and ship in UPS able shipping cases and have a useful life of numerous shows depending on the treatment of the display.  There are various models available for sale.  With over 20 years of experience in this business we have sold a number of types and models.  Display prices have decreased by over 50% in the last 5-10 years and it has become much more of a commodity than it was in the 1990's.  Today you can buy for about $150 what cost over $350 ten years ago.  With the advent of the quick screen type displays up to 48" wide you can get photomural quality in a lightweight and retractable display for about 1/4 what is cost in the 1990's.  Over the years the quality of the tradeshow exhibit has increased.  The lower prices of today's booths belies the quality.  Our units that sell for a few hundred dollars are as high quality and rugged as the higher priced units of a decade ago.

The roll able banner stand usually seems to work better for the price conscious. This display is the most cost effective way to create a floor standing photo mural in existence today.  It consist of hardware that serves to stretch the graphic image from the floor to the top of the image.  One big selling point of the roll able unit is that all you see from the front of the display is an image.  All hardware on these displays is hidden behind or represent a very small part at the top and bottom of the total image.  Another advantage of the roll able  display is that it can be attached together side by side to create a long complete image that could go for 10's of feet with only a pencil thin join line between each roll able unit.  A disadvantage of the this unit is that when it is disassembled the graphic is merely rolled up and put into the shipping container along with the few pieces of hardware needed for set up.  Even though the graphics are fully laminated on both sides because the image is inside the shipping container without further protection it is more prone to damage.  The unit described below, the retractable, solves that problem without too much added expense.

The retractable unit offers more durability because the graphic roll in and out of a metal housing at the bottom of the display.  So while in transit the graphic is always inside a sturdy aluminum housing that protects it against damage.  All retractable displays are laminated on both sides to preserve the quality of the image and protect it against moisture.  The biggest advantage to the retractable unit is this fact that the image is always protected when not in use.  We also offer retractable unit called Quick Screen Three's that provide a replaceable cartridge for the graphics.  This allow a user to change a graphic by simply removing three screws, sliding the old graphic cartridge out and sliding the new cartridge in, thereby saving costs on replacing the images without having to buy a new piece of hardware.
